Steven Ostapiw
Steven is the president and lead coordinator at K&S Contracting Inc. He continually strives for superior results and a growth mindset within our team and the company itself. As an experienced contractor, he is living his passion and enjoys creating working relationships with clients through their projects. Often hands-on, Steven leads K&S Contracting with integrity while demanding and delivering high-caliber work and straightforward communication. When he isn't working with clients on their projects, he is loving the slower life style on his and Nicole's "home-stead vibe-y" acreage. A true Saskatchewan born, he hunts, fishes, snowmobiles and has now entered his Gido era.

Karder Ostapiw
As Vice-President and the lead Project Manager, Karder Ostapiw is seemingly every where at all times with his hands in every project. An invaluable member of K&S Contracting, Karder brings an abundance of great vibes on board our team. His vitality, eagerness and easy laughter make him fantastic at customer communications.
He has a background in plumbing and sales and his quick mind with the tech side of the business has been a welcome addition for all. Spend a few minutes with Karder and his happy foot forward attitude and it's easy to see why Steven is so excited to be building this legacy side-by-side with Karder.

Nicole brings her gifts to K&S Contracting in several forms. Loosely following the role of Administrative Coordinator, she self-proclaims herself as the "floater" of our team. When she is called, she jumps in - whether it's in the truck to a drywall job, a team photo shoot, social media content strategy, financials, HR workshops or answering the phone - she rises to the challenge.
Nicole also shares her unique perspective in team meetings and weighs in on long and short-term business goals. She brings a deep thoughtfulness and energy to the team that are often challenging in the very best ways. Her mindset is based on positive growth and playfulness and asks the question, "What else is possible?"

Heather Bekar-Schulte
Heather joined our team as Creative Projects Manager following a 30-year career as an Executive Chef. She brings a wealth of transferable skills, including expertise in logistics, material costing and management, client communication, and managing tight deadlines. In addition to her culinary background, Heather is an experienced contractor in home renovation and design, custom woodworking, and tiling.
Her neuro-divergent creativity has allowed her to excel in focusing on one project at a time, always maintaining exceptionally high standards and a deep sense of pride and ownership in her work. Heather enjoys the collaborative design and planning process while also relishing hands-on work elevating interior finishes to new heights. Lately, Heather has tuned in her creative energy to the social media and website management for K&S Contracting so she can work remotely as she continues her solo build of her own off-grid home.
She thrives in solo settings, aiming to be a positive force in every project she undertakes. At this stage in her career, Heather seeks to find joy in life's slower details and continuous inspiration through her work.
